Forget Stacking: Start "Weaving" Movement


You need to stop trying to force all activity into one big block. Instead, start to "weave" movement into your day.


"Weaving" means integrating different kinds of movement where they naturally fit. This simple approach creates custom fitness plans for women that actually stick. It transforms exercise from a stressful event into a normal habit.


A "woven" approach, which is how I build all my custom workout plans, has three simple parts:


1. Activation (5–10 min)


This is a small routine to wake up your body. Think simple yoga flows, a few sun salutations, or maybe some hip circles.


Here's why it matters: This prepares your nervous system. It tells your brain it’s safe to move. It reduces stiffness from sitting and makes your main workout much more effective.


2. The Core (20–30 min)


The Core is your main focused session. This is essential strength training.


Here's why it matters: This resistance work builds muscle, protects joints, and keeps your metabolism running well. Since you activated first, you spend less time warming up and more time actually getting stronger.


3. Restoration (5–10 min)


This is your time to relax. It might involve legs up the wall, a few passive stretches, or a short guided meditation.


Here's why it matters: You don’t build strength during the workout; you build it after. This intentionally shifts your nervous system into rest and digest, which is crucial for hormone balance and muscle repair.



How I Design Fitness Plans For Women


Which part should you start with? This is the main question.


This decision is vital. That’s why I don’t sell generic programs. No article can give you a true custom workout plan because your starting point depends entirely on our conversation.


When we have a consultation, I look beyond the numbers. I assess your strengths, your weaknesses (where you might get injured), your actual energy levels, and what activities you genuinely enjoy. Based on this deeper understanding, we build your unique custom workout plans.


Here are some examples of what that means:


  • If you are strong but constantly stiff, your custom workout plans won't mean more heavy lifting. Your plan will focus on more mobility and yoga-style movement (Activation & Restoration), supported by maybe only two focused strength days. We fix how you move first.

  • If you love lifting but are stressed and can't sleep, your custom workout plans will maintain the heavy training. However, we will focus on adding a mandatory 10-minute morning flow (Activation) and a strict Restoration ritual before bed. These elements ensure your system can recover from the training.


  • If you feel too overwhelmed to even try exercising, your custom workout plans might start with zero dedicated "Core" sessions. For two weeks, your only goal might be 5 minutes of Activation in the morning and 5 minutes of Restoration at night. We just build the consistency first.


A plan for someone stressed and inactive looks completely different from custom workout plans for someone active who feels stuck. That’s why working with a coach matters. You receive effective, custom workout plans built specifically for you, based on a real conversation.
